Century Village, located in West Palm Beach is situated on 29 acres just east of Florida’s Turnpike, with its two secured gates located on Okeechobee Blvd. and the junction of Haverhill Rd. The village boasts of 7854 Condo units in 356 buildings, with 309 associations (corporations). There is no master association (unique in the State of Florida). Rather, the United Civic Organization (UCO) act as an advisory group to the Association which sends delegates to the UCO meetings. The community newspaper is the “UCO Reporter” which is operated by the UCO board.

Century Village offers an Owner a very high level of Personal Security, due to the Active Guard Gates, and the active patrol cars that roam the streets, maintaining a 24/7 vigilantwatch of the Community.

The clubhouse is not owned by the Association, but by Benson Capital Corporation in New York. It is managed by WP RF, Inc.

The restoration of the clubhouse (which was damaged by hurricane Frances) took many months to complete. The building now boasts of a magnificent theater offering live shows as well as known entertainers. There is a large party room with a dance floor, a card room, meeting rooms, Hobby and craft rooms, a billiard room, a sewing room, a music room, and an interior and exterior swimming pools, shuffleboard, handball, bocce and racquetball courts are also available.

The new building is beautiful with his open architecture. Everything was remodeled upgraded, and rebuilt to existing codes. While there are no hurricane shutters for the clubhouse windows, high impact resistant window glass was installed. It would appear that future storms will not be a threat to it.

In addition to the clubhouse, there is a large “Fitness Center” featuring a full complement of exercise machines, mats and free weights. Yoga and tai chi are taught in one of the adjacent areas on the fitness center. Additionally, there are two pools associated with the center one for daily water aerobics and the other for resistance workouts.

Throughout Century Village there are a number of satellite pools. There are also several tennis courts. Courtesy buses provide transportation throughout the village and to nearby grocery stores, malls, restaurants, churches, and to the beach. There is a medical office building on the premises which contains a Walgreens Drugstore and Beauty Shop.
